I just got my pair of edimensional 3d glasses in today. The drivers were easy to install. I launched Elite Force 2 after doing the configuration. I saw some light yellow vertical bars on each side of the screen. Anyone know what is causing that? I have a GeForce4 4200Ti with 128MB 4X agp, msi KT4 Ultra mobo, Amd Barton 2500 processor with 1024GB of RAM. I am using NVidia 44.03 dets with 43.03 stereo drivers installed.

Try pressing CTRL-F11 a couple of times. See if that helps a bit.
I think that is a game side effect. Does it appear on another game?
(Do you have that 3D screensaver from eDimentional? If you don't get it. Its really amazing in stereo)

Completed with a similar setup a few weeks back. Looks like a driver setup problem... try downloading the latest drivers, 44.90/44.03 stereo combo from the guru3d downloads section as the ones provided by ED are probably outdated.

The problem you are refering to can be solved by "frustrum adjust" i believe, depending on what keys have been assigned to it. There are 3 settings, the second one should fix your problem; I believe thats what Glidefan is talking about, just thougt id give a little more insight.
I didnt experience any problems accept the 2 croshar problem which exists in most games. Dont let ot put you off, you're in for the biggest treat of your life :-)
The weapon fire is so fast that you can easily coordinate shooting by looking at the fired shots... if that makes sense to you :-)

Best of luck.

The cross hair can be solved from within the drivers. Just activate the crosshair that the nVIDIA drivers give you.

I'm afraid the corsshair only works for specified games, and even manually editing the registry to put own game .exe name in won't help in most cases either.
After a few weeks you get very used to firing between crosshairs... and even miss it when a game works with the nvidia lasersight... i know i do.

Its like in real life, you don't see a crosshair when you walk about with a gun, and ofcourse the inaccurace of poining between the rough aim of the crosshairs makes things all the more realistic... not to mention that the person you are pointing at, and the center of the screen arn'y obstructed by a white cross ;-)

Exactly! I don't use that nVIDIA laser sight cause i find it easier to just shot in the middle (If i try to focus on the crosshairs i'll get cross eyed ! )

Thanks for all of the info. I have been gone and haven't had a chance to put it to good use but I will today.
