    1) when you start the game it create a log.log in the same folder
you can toggle on off with scroll lock key

    2) you should try to edit the settings files, enable disable shaders to see what they do, don't forget to press pause to reload the settings in game , you don't have to restart the game

    3) yep you have to disable in game anti aliasing

    4) read at least the 1st page :p and take a look here http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/game/7/ 1.3 preset but you can use thoses values for 1.4

Hello everyone. I had a couple of questions about sweetfx. Some people in the game I play are claiming that sweetfx can be used for malicious actions like making cloaked players more visible. Everything I've read suggests that this isn't true. Is there any truth behind this? If it is possible I don't need to know, so please don't post any details.

If it's not true, can anyone please explain why in some detail? It would help me to explain to people why sweetfx is safe. Thanks.

well you can make cloaked people in planetside2 more visible if their are a little visible when they move near you, but when i say more it's not like a big red glow like cheaters use
but enhancing that will degrade everything else so i don't know if it's really helping
since you need to see the guy a little it's not really cheating, look http://ninjafada.com/sweetfx/cloak.jpg

i know an other injector can be use to remove shaders so you can remove the cloacking, it doesn't use sweetfx but it's a d3d9.dll too
so if they scan for injector and ban on that, you shouldn't use it

Thanks a bunch mate! Will read the first page to try and get a better understanding but thats my main questions out the way :)

Applied a few shader to Torchlight 2, improved SMAA levels only slightly. I like how the settings file basically tells you what each option does. I added bloom and HDR, and thats it.

Disabled in game AA and the small text in game is very jaggy/blurry??

Do I need to disabled Bloom and HDR in game as well seen as I enabled them in SweetFX?

This program needs a UI! It would be awesome!

The text being jaggy/blurry is probably SMAA taking affect on it as it usually does that with text and I'm not sure how to remedy that myself. :p

You don't have to disable them if you don't want to, suppose it only matters if you can't run the game well with ingame and sweetfx working together.

Doesn't need one, it would be nice to have but there is no problem with editing the txt file. There is a Configurator (linked in main post) that makes it easier to adjust settings however not sure if it's updated to use 1.4.

Hi all, I just recently found out about SweetFX so if i sound like a moron dont hold it against me to much.

I have been appling it to AW2 wich is a mod for a old Novalogic game called Joint Operations.

I play on private servers mostly with no issue at all, but yesterday i joined in on a "Nova" server and got Punted twice when trying to join.
Got a error screen claiming i was running a Hack? i cant remeber the nova error code it gave me.
So i disabled SweetFX and tried again and I Joined right in without a problem
A couple sever moderators told me Nova got a screenshot of my hack that i was running LMAO....
Ive searched all these forums trying to see if anyone else was bieng kicked from servers using sweetFX and found nothing.

I would gladly apperciate any info on how to resolve this issue because SweetFx sure does make this old game look a hell of alot better!

When I try to do color edits with SweetFX (more and more rare these days as color grading is so popular), I pop open a screenshot in photoshop and do auto levels. That gives me an idea what I should try and change.

Wonder how hard it would be to have an auto correct like that in SweetFX? Would that be too complicated?

you won't be able to play with it , because it detect the proxy dll or they uses pbscreen and if you changes the default image too much it will detect it, like make the dark area less dark

Yes. Levels is easy, it's the Auto part that's too complicated.

I'm having an issue getting SweetFX to work with Diablo 3. It doesn't apply my settings and simply says Post Processing not available.

I've tried with both RadeonPro and direct files in the directory. Neither work.

Anyone know what could cause this?

Do you have any idea to applies this to desktop screen?

So we can bypass punkbuster in battlefield

No one want to get banned from using sweet fx

If applies to desktop not directly to game exe

We can applies it to any online game that hate sweet fx

I actually want only color thing no need for fxaa, smaa
