Default Dual monitor reviews (or lack of) - 07-12-2003, 11:26 | posts: 11 | Location: UK

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, but I am having difficulty with benchmarking. Most of the modern graphics cards have dual outputs. Why are there no benchmarks nor even reviews of the cards being used with two monitors?

I run Flight Simulator 2002 Pro with two fp displays which can produce multiple 2D and 3D windows.

I currently have a Ti4600 which handles undocked 3D windows on both monitors at reasonable frame rates. I recently bought a Radeon 9800Pro but it would not deliver more than 1fps when a 3D window was opened on the second monitor. Apparently it has 3D acceleration only on full screen windows.

Can I make a plea for a review of graphics cards running multiple monitors.
