Tomb Raider: Lara Croft Reborn

if it's anything like uncharted I'll love it. hope it has a mix of puzzle, adventure and some gunplay. off now to check the gameplay videos, let's see.

 

Impressed up until the part I saw the game has a "Survival Instincts" mechanism, similar to Hitman Absolution's system. I sure as heck won't be using that. Totally ruins the puzzle element of the game. This is Tomb Raider, it's known for it's puzzles.

 

I already have this demo since 2010. But the collisions between hairs and visage/hairs have some artifacts/errors - its aren't fixed yet.

 

Wtf, so AMD are going into the shampoo business

 

Actually the last Trilogy had toned down and pretty good body proportions, especially Underworld.

Violent maybe, but not at this magnitude and raw brutality.

Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means easily offended.
I just don't think its in the spirit of Tomb Raider or in the character of Lara Croft.

Reading all the reviews has confirmed one thing for me, I'll be buying this as an Uncharted game for PC and not a new Tomb Raider game. The reviews make it sound like a terrible Tomb Raider game and a fantastic Uncharted style game.

Still a day one for me, but really disappointed that it's not an actual "Tomb Raider".

Any PC reviews too? i would like to see this new hair FX in action.. On x360 it looks average.

Seeing all the review scores, this'll finally be a Tomb Raider worth playing again.
Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed the last iterations of the franchise, they just lacked something new.
