I'm 2 years behind, so I don't know whats good and whats bad anymore, that's where you guys come in

My first friend, his budget is 1000$ including tax/shipping, he mainly will be using this computer to play guild war 2, diablo 3 and using photoshop.

My second friend, his budget is 600$ including tax/shipping, he mainly will be using this computer to play guild war 2.

Both of them don't need a monitor/ keyboard/ mouse.

I'm not going to recommend any parts, everyone has their own opinions on those.
For the first one with Photoshop I will recommend at least 8 gigs of ram, a scratch drive (small ssd drive 32-64gig) and a Nvidia video card, probably a 660.

I also will not recommend any parts. Sounds like you and friends need to take some time and read the 1000`s of builds found in these forums and others.
