Is there something you need from a new driver that your current driver doesn't have?
Also surely this could have gone in the other thread waffling on about new WHQL drivers?

Would very much like to see the World of Warcraft DX11 fullscreen nvidia Surround scaled onto center screen only blurring issue but not sure if newer driver is going to fix it, I can only hope. Might not even be a driver problem might be WoW.
Probably it could have gone in the other thread :p

If your expecting a fix then fair play to you.
Not sure I can be of assistance since I don't play that game or have a GTX680 or have 3 monitors.

A new driver for all cards usually follows after a week or so of the exclusive ones for new cards.
However, ManuelG of the NVIDIA forums (remember them?) said that a certified driver would be out mid- to late-July and that obviously never happened but then their forums were hacked and they've been down ever since. Why the forums are taking so long to get up and running again, I do not know, but it leaves new owners of the GTX 660 Ti cards with nowhere official to post any issues or problems. I'm actually surprised that NVIDIA launched the GTX 660 Ti before they had their forums up and running to be honest.

How long does it take to get forums back up? I honestly don't get it.
Not only was Valves forums hacked but so was their database of encrypted CC info, etc. and they were up and running in what a week?
Sony had that massive, gigantic hack and they were up and running quicker than Nvidia can get the forums up.
Bioware forums were hacked yet they were up in a couple days.
I can go on and on. This is getting ridiculous and we're getting 0 communication. Last update was July 24.

I hope so! Really hope they fix the v-sync issue as well. Sucks having spent $500+ on a new GPU and it has an issue such as this. I play nearly all my games with v-sync. While they all don't suffer from it the original Darksiders for example does and I would like to play it before starting the second.

I remember something of an Nvidia forum where any kind of official support was rare and most help actually came from other users/customers.
As long as ManuelG continues to post here then there is not much purpose to Nvidia forums in my opinion.

Depends on your actual goals. Sony simply wanted their service back online. nVidia may actually be trying to patch whatever flaw was used to get in.

I'm sorry but that doesn't add up.
Sony had millions of customers CC info stolen, entire service was down, etc. They obviously closed whatever security holes they had an updated their security in the process. To say that they didn't and wanted to risk another hack just doesn't work out.
So that's why it confuses me how all these companies that had greater hacks or to the same effect were up and running quicker than Nvidia.
At the very least update us as to what's going on. They said soon a month ago. That's not soon lol.

Maybe Nvidia is following Blizzards definition of "soon".
Guild Wars 2 is out in a week, so I would imagine we will have new drivers before then. Hopefully.
