Hi all

Haven't been on these forums in ages.
What it is, i just bought a new pc i got.
i5 3570 cpu,gigabyte ga-z77-dh3 motherbgoard, 16 gig of coshair vengence 1.50v mem(4 sticks of 4 gigs), new pc case, coolermaster 750 watt 80+ psu.
Plugged it all in, turned on and it starts for like 2-3 seconds then turns off, repeats this continually untill i pull the power cord out.
I plugged in the pc error speaker and it beeps 2 times then pauses for a second or so then beeps again?
Any ideas on that error code?
I've replaced the psu and it's still the same.
All the parts are compatible I've checked it up.
Any ideas what it could be I'm stumped on this one.

Thanks hope someone can help.

I think that is a video error code but the code would depend on who is the maker of your Bios so I can't be 100% sure.
Have you tried general troubleshooting?
Make sure your ram and all cards are seated properly?
Trouble shoot the Ram.
Doublcheck power connections..etc

try taking out 2 sticks of ram. if posts set xmp profile in the bios. shut down put in the other 2 sticks. you have something like a memory ok button on the m/b like asus boards?

The POST beeps indicate the following:
1 short: System boots successfully
2 short: CMOS setting error
1 long, 1 short: Memory or motherboard error
1 long, 2 short: Monitor or graphics card error
1 long, 3 short: Keyboard error
1 long, 9 short: BIOS ROM error
Continuous long beeps: Graphics card not inserted properly
Continuous short beeps: Power error

Does your current BIOS support your CPU out of the box?

Newer AMD boards and Bulldozer CPUs had a similar issue where you needed to boot with an older CPU > update BIOS > install new CPU
