My friend is having a problem we took my old graphics card and put it in but i didnt have the instalation card and we used my old monitour since his didnt work but since we didnt have the instalation card and stuff we took it all out and put in his old card and his monitour. my card was a GeForce GT220 we dont know the name of his sadly but when we replaced them the screen became all pixalized and stuff and we want to fix it. I am sorry for the bad grammar I havn't slept in a few trying to resolve this issue. I bet its something simple and I am two stupid to realize it.

One thing.....was his video card from AMD? If so did you guys do a full wipe from the previous drivers because if you didnt the drivers between AMD and nVidia conflict with each other. Also check temperatures if the card is not overheating or the sort and make sure everything is running on stock speed.

The only way to get a good resolution is to get drivers from the website.

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

If you don't it defaults to windows driver and that possibly won't pick up your monitor and give you a pixelated screen. Just check resolution before you do anything. Right click desktop and click properties. At least get a bigger res than 800*600 that will give you cataracts....
