lol, yeah i thought someone started up a new thread, but its actuals the same one.

LCD and other newer tech has come on a long way over the last few years, and if anything peoples eyes have adapted more to current screens and CRT is now the tech the will give people eye strain and headaches, i know it does for me when i was using a friends screen as even at 85hz i was struggling compared to even a cheap 60hz LCD.

As usual, people should use what looks best to their eyes, while also being the most comfortable, and not listen to others trying to shove their biased ideas down everyone else's throat.

I've been using LCD for some years now, but there is no denying CRT is superior. Proper contrast, no input lag and no ghosting.

You can get IPS panels with great STILL quality, but as soon as stuff start moving the ghosting and lag is horrendous, never ending motion blur.. Given the choice I will stick to the fastest TN panel available unless I can find a fw900.

What I'm waiting for is an LED IPS panel that's larger than 27 inch, is 3D & has 120Hz refresh rate.

Come on Panasonic, what you waiting for?

Currently I own a 32'' Panasonic LED IPS 60Hz panel. Whilst it's great I just WISH it was 120Hz.

3D would also be a bonus for movies...

I'm waiting for ~25" 4K display that would not be TN. 3840x2160 would be great since 1080p would look pixel perfect so gaming at lower resolution would not be a problem.

Currently I have 75Hz 23" inch 1920x1080 Fujitsu P23T-6P IPS screen. It does the job for now.
