Nice, looking forward to the release.
I very much enjoyed the original G.R.I.D
Unlike NFS from EA Games G.R.I.D is REALISTIC!

I never got into racing games but i really did enjoy GRID. I liked the car physics for some reason, it was fun with my wheel and joy stick (modded gear stick).

realistic? lol. good game, its fun without being too sim or too arcade
Although there are couple of NFS titles in the past that i found just as fun. unfortuanly the only racer that flawlessly expresses realism in terms of handling on my G27 was GT5

I must say i enjoyed GRID more than any recent NSF.
While some were really good on their own, they always lacked that special someting GRID had.

I agree, GRID was much better than any NFS at the time it came out, and a few NFS's after that.
To whoever said they dont have much faith in codemasters, yeah showdown was crap, i thought dirt3 was pretty damn good, and the F1 series just keep getting better and better. Have faith old friend Grid 2 will be good

I don't know if NFS and GRID can really be compared, they are different. NFS focus is not really on realism, it's all just cops and unreal racing. GRID on the other hand is very focused on realism or at least that's what I got out of it and it was way more difficult for me than any NFS game I ever played. Only exception from NFS is SHIFT. It was allright. This is just my view.

GRID was an excellent game, but i get this feeling GRID 2 is going to suck arse regardless of the improvements they'll advertise, after Dirt 3 and the disaster that was Dirt Showdown i lost faith in Crapmasters.
hopefully they're not just reviving the GRID series simply because they can't sell or improve Dirt games anymore (stuck) ..which could mean trouble for GRID as a series, they might end up ruining it too in their attempt to make money.
i sure hope i'm wrong, GRID was a solid game.
