Default Adding GTX 670 to Rivatuner (Low Level Fan Control) - 08-04-2012, 07:22 | posts: 3

I'm attempting to add my GTX 670 to Rivatuner, but it doesn't seem to be working... I can't access the tab for fan control... it only shows the 4 it shows when it doesn't recognize a card.

In Rivatuner.cfg, under:

[GPU_10DE]

I added:

GK104 = 1189-11FF

and under:

[VEN_10DE]

I added:

DEV_1189 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670"

Does anyone see any issues with this? Any reason why this wouldn't work...? Did I add the correct item under the GPU_10DE section? 1189 is definitely the device ID.

BTW, my goal is to make use of the Low Level Fan Control in Rivatuner. No need to leave afterburner open and it uses less resources.

Thanks!

RivaTuner is no longer a supported app. It was replaced by MSI Afterburner.

Which is disappointing, since Rivatuner is much more powerful....

What are you trying to do that Afterburner can't do?

My original post... low level fan control (which would also include unlocking 100% fan without bios flashing).
