Default Uninstalling AMD drivers? - 08-03-2012, 20:52 | posts: 3

Every time I uninstall AMD Catalyst Install Manager to do a fresh reinstall of drivers, I have a HD 6950 gpu, it uninstalls my usb drivers also.
Am i doing something wrong? I have a ASUS AMD Crosshair V Formula mb. I'm fixing to install a new nvidia gpu and I don't want to reinstall usb drivers.

Do you mean USB 3 drivers or the USB filter? All the other USB drivers are supplied by Microsoft.....

When you run the Catalyst Install Manager to uninstall the drivers, do a custom uninstall, and only select the graphics drivers, as im guessing with having an AMD board as well, when your removing the graphics drivers, your also removing the ones your motherboard needs
