It goes down now and again, interface has changed a bit with version 2 but I imagine that's the issue in this case too.

Only just received my pre order.
Im in the same boat as a lot of people with shocking frames in this game. I have to put all settings to medium and tesselation on low just to get me up to average 50fps. Im playing at 1920x1080. any ideas anyone.
apart from the shocking frames, the game is some what entertaining. I might put it on hold for a while till I can max out some settings to get the full experience, I guess.
I think after this game I am done with FPS style games. I have really moved onto RPG's. much more entertaining. All shooters seem the same to me these days

I've just ran the GR:FS launcher and did not get any update. I suspect there may be some confusion between the Uplay (launcher) updates and the actual game patches. As far as I'm aware from checking the Ubisoft forum yesterday there is *NO* ETA date on the v1.4 Title Update.
It was supposed to have been out within a week of v1.3 but I suspect the developers are having problems fixing all the issues and I bet v1.4 will be the last patch regardless of whether it actually fixes everything or not. As long as it fixes the ridiculous resolution bug then I'm fine as I've had this game almost THREE WEEKS now and I still cannot play it properly. I can move but the graphics look awful (@1920x1200, maxed out settings) so I refuse to play it.

Can't. Tried it a couple of weeks ago: game loads to the main menu fine but crashes as soon as I start any mode. Fixed in v1.1 and higher. So I have no choice put to either play the patched version with sub-1920x1200 looking visuals or wait for patch v1.4.

TBH you really are not missing much. Its enjoyable, but not great by any means. I hope 1.4v fixes the issues.
This is really really poor of them to release it in such a broken state.

+1 most games these days need a lot of patches to get them working correctly. But this game is by far the worst I feel like i am playing an alpha release not even beta. I miss the days when there was no internet and games went through a lot of bug testing to deliver as a game the way it's meant to be.

Just started playing this game, and it's a MASSIVE disappointment so far.
I hoped it would be a spiritual successor to the great Advanced Warfighter games, but it's nothing like that.
Maybe I'm just not far enough in the game, but the levels are really cramped and linear. There's nothing like the large free-roaming levels in GRAW. To make matters worse, you seem to have no control over your teammates; all you can do is run behind them (like in CoD). And every couple of minutes, the game takes control of your char for an unnecessary cutscene, and I'm left wondering why I even "play" this game. If you want to make a CGI movie, don't release it as a game!
The worst part is the interface: i like to use the scenery and maps (like in GRAW) to find the easiest way to my target, but here the GUI is ubiquitous: look at these HORRIBLE screenshots:

Please tell me everything gets better the further I advance in the game? Please?

The ones that don't need their hand held when playing games are few and far between these days. If you look back 10+ years ago, it was a completely different gaming experience.

Still waiting for the v1.4 title update so I can play the campaign at the correct resolution (oddly, the graphics display correctly with the Guerilla mode!). It's only been out FIVE WEEKS!!!
Ubisoft are pathetic IMO for pushing this game out unfinished. I've played alpha/beta demos that have been more/had less issues than this game. Absolutely appalling really that the game was even allowed to be released.

Yeah I still get crashes every 10 minutes or so with the game. Graphics are certainly not up to snuff and there's absolutely nobody online. It's really a shame because I was looking forward to it and Ubisoft can't even manage to make it functional. :/

Nice, though for both of those updates that means about one and a half to two months of waiting before they're both available and the game is up to date (And probably won't get any further updates from that I guess, we'll see.) though it's not too bad, at least they're doing something.
