Hiya, I was wondering if you guys can help me figure out an issue for my friend.

His GTX 560 ( got it about a month and a half ago ) is having some strange issues he says.

During the cutscenes of Saints Row 3 he gets random black screens. The entire screen goes black for a second and comes back.

It also happened when he was watching the Nvidia New Dawn demo in full screen.

Any ideas? Tried different drivers and his PSU is a 700 watt Corsair. Could the GPU be damaged? It's an AMD platform.

Oh I'm sorry wasn't clear. He wasn't running the actual New Dawn demo. Just watched the video off geforce.com in full screen mode and it was doing that he said.

But yeah I'll have him dl afterburner and test it out.

If it's black screens while watching videos in your browser try disabling hardware acceleration for flash

If you ask me it sounds like the Card does not get enough voltage. Is it a OC-Card? If so try to low the clockrates or raise the voltage for the card and see if it becomes stable.

The issue is that your driver gets reseted for some reason and one of the reasons can be OC/Low Voltage (even if the card is sold with OC already).
