Hello guru's, a bit of an issue today with the media device connected to my Asus RT-56U. For anybody familiar with this router, you are able to plug in a HDD to the router and it will share it across the network. I am using a 1TB HDD and it has worked flawlessly since ive had it.
however, recently i noticed the space free declining at an alarming rate. After opening it up with SpaceSniffer i found the file named "minidlna.log" amassing to 485+ GB in space (almost half the drive).
I am aware this file has something to do with how media centers (ps3/windows etc.) index the media. I will note that the rest of my HDD consists of about 300+ films, tv series, lots of music and some pictures/random documents.
Is a 485GB+ log file normal? Should this be happening. I have checked ownership on all files incase the log file was constantly reporting access rights failure and that has not done anything to resolve this.
Currently it takes about 15 days to completely fill the log file and render the HDD full.
All help welcome.
