Anyone else finding the title release of FF to be kind of unstable?

If I leave the PC for more than about 10 minutes it locks up and if I try running certain flash items (mainly BBC News videos), it crashes as well.

Tempted to try WaterFox to see if that's any better.

Any thoughts on fixes/similar experiences?

No problems here either since it updated, was going to try Waterfox a while ago, but nothing works with it.

Flash in the latest Firefoxes have been awful for me.

Videos either don't load or have problems. You scroll and the video just get messed up.

Firefox blame Adobe and Adobe blame Firefox.

Noticed if you leave Facebook open in a tab with all their coding it constantly checks things and keeps scripts running, which can also affect Firefox I've noticed.

Yeah I've been having that for the last couple of months, really disturbing... never used to be like that before.

No more FF for me, i've had it with the ''not responding'' thing every damn minute.. or when downloading is finished.

I might go back when they fix that, for now i'll keep google chrome.
It starts much faster imo then firefox.

edit: thank god google chrome has an addblocker plugin, or else i kept FF.

The last time you installed WF you probably didn't have 64-bit Flash plug-in installed, which was separate before 11.3.
Plug-ins only work with WF if it's a native 64-bit plug-in.
If those WMP and VLC plug-ins are not 64-bit then yes, those wouldn't work.

Finally figured out how to raise the fps cap... It did not use the refresh rate as fps cap so it was stuck at 60 fps. Much smoother now since it's in sync with monitor (and higher frame rate; my monitor does 75Hz at 1920x1080).
