Graduation present that I bought myself. Protip: the pocket that hipsters use for guitar picks, coins, or small cellphones, is made for watches.

Heh who has the money to drop all that dollop on watches?

People who are rich (or rich parents) or people who are obsessed with them that's who. Given that I am neither one or the other I am not a watch person. There is another problem that watches bug me.

Hey maybe one day I'll be swimming in cash and start to buy ostentatious pocket watches.

Cool story bro...

On topic, I have quite a collection of watches, from cheapo star wars/superhero watches to medium priced brands as Tag Heuer & Seiko.
My wife usually buys me a new one for Christmas every year.
This is my current daily driver.http://www.tommybahama.com/TBG/Men/A...+Bay+Watch.jsp

I have this one that I bought (well, dad bought it to me) from Thailand 12 years ago. Sellers said that it was a real deal digital watch and not a fake (which probably was true since it obviously wasn't a copy). It ran ten years with the batteries it came. I don't use it other than to check time if I wake up too early.

But no, I'm not into wristwatches.

The automatic one is the co-axial version. Which has a great timepiece.

And one automatic Seiko watch:

The watches that are still on my whish list are the Breitling Navitimer B01 and a Rolex Yachtmaster II:

The Breitling Navitimer B01 is mine now. Really happy with it!

@ Vinnie- You've got my dream watch there, I'm pretty jealous right now. More so because you look about 17. Good for you, must be an amazing watch to own.

I've just got a Suunto Core (all black)
http://www.suunto.co.uk/products/Out...ore-All-Black/

Only really needed the altimeter. But all the other features are a nice to have i guess. It's my second one, first one eventually got some moisture under the glass face, like condensation or something when i was in Brunei. And the bezel fell off completely. But to be fair i had had it ages and it had been through hell. I will say their customer service and warranties are top notch though. Just gotta be sure to register it.

What I want to know is do you guys ever smell your skin under the strap after you've worn your watch for a while?

Had a co-worker who did it in the open and I was just so disgusted by it. It ok if you do, but not in front of others... sheesh.

I used to have a Tissot Touch but the fact it wasn't waterproof was too restrictive. Replaced it with a Citizen Eco Drive Skyhawk, but just over a year later after swimming at the beach the crown stopped working, I contacted Citizen as outside the US I only had a 1 year guarantee as I was in NZ, not the 5 year one, so it would have have cost me $$$$ to fix.
So I bought a G shock metal face for $300, this was good for about 5 years, then when I got a watch shop in London to replace the battery, when I went swimming in Tenerife it stopped and the glass steamed up. Took it up with the watch shop and they said they didn't make it waterproof cos I didn't ask them too, had a big fight with them about it, but eventually gave up as they weren't giving in.
Now have a Casio Edifice Wave Ceptor, but I'm thinking I should just shell out and get the Citizen fixed, just for the name snobbery.
A workmate is a watch snob, his favourite is some Breitling, but I don't like it, looks like Omega in the OPs post, no offence, just not my thing, looks too basic for my liking, plus my mates has a leather strap, which I hate too.
