I haven't seen it work yet. The real question to ask is if anyone with an original ghz card has voltage control working? (just to be sure). I do remember in the hardOCP review, they were not able to get 1 more mhz on the card even with 1.3 voltage, which seems to imply that the tools need to be updated.

Might just flog mine on tbh, as im happy with me 670, can't really see a difference in performance, seems the same to me, probably only tell if i run fraps to see the actual frames, plus its got a better cooler on it as well, and im only at 1080p, so 2gbs enough v-ram really, plus it saves me from taking the 670 out and popping the 7970 back, as its a right faff on, tight fit

Yeah AMD definitely concedes to Nvidia in BF3. Not really sure why tho. AMD's extra VRAM should make Ultra easy, but even heavily overclocked it still lags behind NV.

Maybe in FPS, but not IQ. If you enable Supersampling in CCC, you get a HUGE IQ jump, that really outshines Nvidia.

Yes no one is denying it can't maintain 60FPS but if you bench the 2 without v-synch the 680 is clearly ahead.

Odd, RGSS seems to be working for me when I select MSAA in game and force Super Sampling via CCC. It looks a lot better than on my Nvidia rig that way.

Woot? can you please explain me how do you do that? i tried but nothing helps! even i already have BF3 looking amazing, in using SMAA injector (ultra settings) + high quality filtering in drivers and 4XMSAA, still would be great to see how does RGSS? looks i dont even know what that means, that is some kind of SSAA, right?

It does on AMD drivers....I can't say for Nvidia..
All I have to do is enable supersampling from CCC...that simple.
IQ goes through the roof adds negative LOD quality also. It's part of the drivers now.

Don't use atiflash/atiwinflash to flash the ghz bios on the card. You have to use the AMD unofficial crossflasher. Most likely, there is a CRC/hardware check, similar to when you tried using radeon Bios editor to change the CCC limits on the 6900 cards, then the drivers couldn't detect the card anymore. It's probably the EXACT Same thing going on, which is why you can't use atiflash to do this.
Reflash the backed up Bios (if you didn't back it up, switch to Bios #2, dump it with gpu-z 0.6.3, then with the power on, switch to Bios #1 then run the command line (or atiwinflash) flasher (it's best to boot to MSDOS/boot disk and flash with atiflash) to restore the original Bios. Then run the crossflasher that Rich Guy linked above for you.

Yep I used the official flasher, took 10 seconds. It flashed both my cards at the same time right in windows. No need for safemode and the like. It just worked, and great.
12.7 beta's came to life afterwards.

Little feedback : these drivers crash Kane's Wrath (old game) with a big freeze. Must reboot by hand windows. Rollback to 12.6 and seems to work good :/

No, running a CoolerMaster V6 GT air cooler. I go back and forth between 4.6 to bench and 4.4 for gaming.
I don't bench too often though.

So I have a problem with the new model of CCC greater than 12.4. I am running a 6870 and an integrated 3300 (on a 790GX board, using it to drive my second monitor) and when I upgraded from 12.4 to this driver (and I tried 12.6) it could not find a driver for the 3300. I see that they switched to a legacy driver model for anything lower than the HD 5XXX. When I tried to load the driver from 12.4 for the 3300 it switched both cards to the 12.4 driver. I can't use different drivers for some reason. Am I able to run both cards (well one is an integrated motherboard chip) or am I stuck to using 12.4?
