New audio threads? -

Hey guys I was considering adding more content to the audio forums and was wondering what type of articles/postings you would like to see?
I have seen a few PM's and posts regarding ripping flac's from CD's?
I think I am going to start there.
Are there other ideas or postings, information that you would like to see?
Remember this is your forum also so if you want to see something just ask and i will try and get it done and posted ASAP.
Let me know...

I think many here would like to see a " best bang for your buck" sound card etc. comparison. Maybe a Xonar DX is a better buy than the Phoebus? Maybe not that extreme, but I for one would appreciate that kind of input. Thanks ROBSCIX.

I'm so sick of hearing about what headphones to buy too...although if you make a guide like that I suggest privately you ask for info from me and a few others I know who are familiar with the topic here.

Yea I agree on headphones, so people there are good choices when it comes to buying headphones for gaming.
You could also have a thread explaining the different sound signature that op-amps can have and explain them in detail. For those who don't knot.

I have an idea, you guys all use headphones and have went through numerous sets testing....Why not get together and write a guide on gaming/music headphones?
I can sticky it up for people looking to get started with headphones.
Whadaya think?

I can contribute my opinions etc. Maybe a few of us can PM each other and come up with a guide that's not going to end up being repetative. Just let me know how I can help.

Might be an idea to consider the locations of different members when making the guide. The prices of certain brands of headphones have massive markups in some areas. Grado's in the UK for example. Probably easist to focus on the USD, Sterling, and Euro to keep it from getting out of hand, though.

What now guys? Is anyone going to follow through with this proposed thread? ROBSCIX,maybe you can tie this in somehow with your reviews? This is one hell of a good idea. I'm surprised there are so few responses.

Looks like this very good idea hit the tank. Too bad. It would have been a good and informative thread. Any way to bring some life back to this?

We have the Guru3D VGA chart, how about make the Guru3D Sound card chart? Maybe in that chart we can put information like the price, features, general specifications, mini review, target audience, etc? Just start with cards that currently available in the market, so no need to include cards that already discontinued.
So every time someone need advices on buying a new card, they can look at the chart, get some info and comparison, and hopefully can make decision based on that. We've seen so many threads asking for advice and the replies are mostly the same, if you're a gamer buy this card, if you're looking for better music buy that card, etc.

I would also like a headphone thread. Bang for your buck would pull a lot of views as a constant source of information for the latest gear for the price range.
