Default KFA2 GTX 580 Anarchy Edition water block - 06-30-2012, 19:01 | posts: 668 | Location: UK

I am asking all gurus to help please as no one seems to know for sure.
I want to fit a water block, preferably a full cover version to my KFA2 GTX 580 Anarchy Edition but the design seems different enough that EK have now listed it as non reference design and they dont plan on making one for it.

http://www.ixbt.com/video3/images/gf...scan-front.jpg

this is the imagine to the pcb on mine

and this one is the reference design pcb

Im hoping someone out their has managed to get one to fit or knows of one that will without having to resort to a gpu block only with heatsinks.

please help.
regards
Stev0

Don't think there ever will be a compatible Waterblock for such cards.

In the future, stick to reference if you want Aftermarket Cooler compatibility.

unfortunately my ignorance with only just wanting to convert my whole system over to water.
I just dont want to spend out good money on a water cooler to only cool my cpu, seems such a waste when I was originally palnning it to cool so much more.

I know people put things like the Antec Khuler 620 on their GPU. That's the only thing i can think of that would be compatible with a few Mods.

But a full cover block is never ever going to happen, unless you design one yourself.

i came across this by accident but its ment for a gtx 480.

http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_8797.html

that looks like to me it has enough cut out to allow for the extra caps.

and unless Im mistaken it seems to be an exact match to the GTX 480 pcb design

Might fit yes, 480 and 580 have the same design.
