GPU stuck in idle mode when playing games? -

MY GPU sometimes gets stuck in idle mode even when playing games so its horribly laggy, anyone know how to fix this?
I have the amd hd 7690m xt graphics card which is a switchable graphics card. Am using the 12.6 beta drivers. |

Interesting, i had that when i used the 12.4 drivers! i went back to 12.2 because of it. Sorry the post isn't any help, i just thought i would share that.

CCC OverDrive, MSI AfetrBurner, Trixx? They all work for me. If you want OverDrive to show up in CCC you will probably need Afterburner to enable it.

Try 12.7 official beta june 26.
12.4 to 12.6 all had sticky idle clock problem for me. 12.7 fixed it. |
