Hi guys
I have start to play metro 2033,very good game but damn this game is so hard to run whit a good average fps.I have overclock my vga a little,+75 on gpu and +125 on the mem,and i have increase the power at 122%.
My damn Hp screen make a lot of tearing with that game, thats make me gething crazy
So i have disable DOF and put texture at high everything else is set to maximun,
and i use adaptive v-sync whit tb.
So im almost always at 60 fps is that ok or that should run better whit my set up.I will like to run it with very high
Ps:If someone have few hints there all welcome, and sorry for my poor english im trying to do my best
Thanks guys Rom

tbh I need sli 580 oc to max out that game and get min 60fps. for a single card you may have to dial down the setting

Metro takes some serious hardware to max. I ran it as a benchmark because it was frustrating to play at times and didn't feel like beating it.
I decided to give it another shot and I beat it around two weeks ago finally. To prevent the dips you really need to do some serious tweaking to the user.cfg if you want to keep it almost always at around 60. Do it right and you'll be spending most of your time in action and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
670/680 really fall to their knees in Metro. Proof that these cards seem to be a bit bandwidth limited.

I was just testing this game maxed out at 2560x1440. I was seeing max of 60fps and it dipped into the 40`s quite often. 1400mb of vram. at 1080p it was very playable all maxed out 60 min. the games a hardware killer no doubt

Thanks
Lets say at 1920x1080 without dof at very high i have good average,i see ofte more than 60 fps,but with so much tearing that i prefer to go at high and enable the v-sync ,this way thats very smooth.
But whit v-sync at very high that run but sometime the fps drop to much in big action,so i have to make a choice lol
