Cool Scratch Build: Iron Man Casemod - 06-14-2012, 11:37 | posts: 3

To all, Hello!

I'm Alexandre Ferreira, Brazilian 38 years, married a son.

A few years I have been dedicating myself to build cabinets, made from scratch. This year introduced the Campus Party Brazil, my current project, the Iron Man casemod What size is 1.84 meters, made to stay as close as possible to the armor of the film.

Below are some photos and a video link to show a little of how it was building, and also a little as the Campus Party in Brazil.

Beginning of the project on paper. Using Pepakura.

Here I had set parts of it.

Hands

Test of robotics it.

During the painting.

I, He.

More, Campus Party Brasil 2012.

CPU in case:

I joke, I make Casemonster (casemonstro in portuguese), not casemod

Well if anyone wants to know more, let me know!

Well no questions asked so far, but I will complement the post.

He has the movement of calves, and in each one, a cooler of 80x80mm, which captures cold air, and throws in a pipe that is in the center of his leg pvc 3 ". In each round, it has a cooler 120x120mm, which pushes more air up thus increasing the ventilation air and catch the calf. Ventilation was perfect. On the back where there are flaps flight he has to breathe the hot air outlet.
