I saw it runs between 30-120fps, usually ~ 50-70fps and eats ~ 2010mb.. Although he's in the editor the whole time.

Not much better in graphical enhancement compared to other engines, the Final Fantasy Demo looks better imo. However, the editor looks slick and I guess that's enough to reel in developers to use their engine over another one.

I did think the particle part of the demonstration quite impressive though. Other than that, UE4 doesn't seem to really push the boundaries of how games look overall.

Pretty much what I wanted to say. Square Enix's demo is a design marvel. Epic's demo is a minimalistic show off of specific features, for developers.
Kinda pointless to compare them. ( at least in a superficial way )
