I've never had a problem with my setup,

Default game and with texture packs and modifications the game runs fine and looks great. Multiple sets of drivers, I havent played it in a few months with the newer drivers though.

ok guys, flickers have completely 100% gone for me now, Ive recently upgrade to a completely AMD set up ie cpu and mobo, combined with my graphics card and reinstalled windows and i can use the skyrim crossfire profile with out any flickering of any kind, wow, but before anybody says "could be coz you reinstalled windows" no, already tried that in December with my old set up, didn't work, in fact i tried everything conceivable. So more proof that the problem is not bethesda specific, something AMD related for sure. Thanks for wasting months of my life AMD.

So in the end it was a conflict with an Intel CPU and an AMD GPU? ...
Maybe I should fiddle around with my CPU settings like turning off Turbo Boost

I envy you my friend

It works good for me in CFX but I have to cap it at 60fps with Bandicam or it is unplayable.

ya, even if you would get slightly negative scaling minimums, you wouldnt notice without doing comparison testing (& not like the game is broken in such a case either), so an issue like that can exist without mattering much

So I was so fed up I actually did a video about the flickering.
Please watch it and if you have any help to offer/are suffering from the same, tell me.

Peros I even installed Windows 8 and installed Skyrim there. Same flickering. Everything unchanged.

Can't seem to get the crossfire flickering away. I've tried 12.4, 12.6, 11.11b (BSODs me). Of course just disabling crossfire makes it run perfectly.

Only one I haven't tried is 11.10 but wondering if I'm wasting my time. Is there ever going to be a fix?

Well 11.10 is issue-free, there is no yellow menu or texture flickering, but on the downside the Crossfire Scaling is so crappy you might as well want to disable it. I tested it, it showed 35 FPS in Crossfire and 32 with Crossfire disabled.
In all the new (also beta) drivers the scaling is perfect (50-55 FPS) but everything flickers like hell -> unplayable

I think we just need to wait for AMD to roll out their next fix, as they have had it already fixed for many cards before the 1.6.89 Patch.
