Default GeForce GTX 680 SC Signature+ w/Backplate 2GB Question!? - 06-03-2012, 05:36 | posts: 1,946 | Location: Long Island

So this model of the EVGA GTX 680 series comes standard with the backplate on it here:

Now does anyone know if I have to install it or does it come with it already pre-assembles? This looks like a real nice card, might pick it up, the ASUS TOP Edition is freaking too lengthy for me really, unless I remove my modular HDD brackets, lol.

make sure you have enough airflow in your case for that DCII, it will dump hot air in your case and heat things up. if you want 1 that doesnt dump air in your case get the evga 670 FTW.

My air flow is reallllly good in my case, I have a good flow in the case and about 5 case fans. I also removed my hard drive modular bracket and now have 15'' for the pretty lengthy ASUS GTX 680 DCII Top Edition which is like 12'' long lol.
