Honestly bro you'd benefit more with your system from Win7. You'll find things will actually be MORE compatible nowadays compared to XP. Unless you are running out of date software like some ancient microsoft office.

By then you'd be better off with an updated Open Office.

Could you possibly add the 7970M to the mobility mod?

You can find a 7970M driver here (8.951.6.0): http://www2.sagernotebook.com/Sagern...ideo_A91X0.exe

Cheers in advance.

Well it's not useless as 8.961.0 hasn't been modified for the 7970M either.

So it makes sense to modify the latest driver - in this case 8.961.3.

But don't you have switchable graphics? (Intel+AMD)

12.x (8.97) drivers has support for HD 7970M.

Did you downloaded the mobile version of drivers?
http://www2.ati.com/DriVeRs/mobile/1..._64_dd_ccc.exe

If yes,
download this and write here the VendorID and DeviceID
http://download-developer.amd.com/GP...s/DeviceID.exe

P.S. Would be better to send it to the topic with the 12.4 WHQL drivers

This is for HD 4 series and under users only. There are no Skyrim specific fixes in this set for that particular problem.

Friend plays on HD 4650 and Skyrim crashes a lot. Not that crashes posted on Bethesda forums but more frequently.
