I just ran 3DMark Vantage for the first time and got those numbers. So are those results fine? I'm especially worried about the CPU score

That video card sucks. Good CPU though, beats my score on my 2500K @ 4.6 Ghz OC.

I get a GPU Score of 18098 and CPU score of 23,001. P-Score is 19,104.

I just realized you have the same Gigabyte motherboard as me too, and power supply is around same voltage but mine is the Corsair TX750 V2 80 plus silver certified. I am upgrading to an ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU II Top Edition as soon as they come back in stock, and I will run some more tests!

Alas, the GPU is always the most expensive part for a PC.

Dump the card you have and get a new one, that "GTS 250" is seriously holding you back!.

When I get teh money, then I'll get a gainward GTX 670. I'll sell this GTS 250 to a friend who is, surprisingly, drooling over its performance (He's on an Intel GMA). Lemme know your experience on that Asus model and I might save a little more for it

graphics score is pretty low for a GTS250, even a 9800GT Green can beat it by a good margin

4656 vs 6143

My GTS 250 has this weird problem where it only does 50% GPU usage most of the time.

yeah but you may fix GTS 250 performance:
1. uninstall geforce driver and reboot;
2. run "Driver Sweeper" (if you haven't it then you should download it) and reboot again;
3. press F8 to select options of Win Vista or 7 and select SAFE MODE;
4. install new geforce driver and last reboot.

If you can't fix GTS 250 then you may get RMA (warranty should be still under).

Thanks, I tried it and it seems to make things smoother although it's still stuck at 50%. But now 3D Mark Vantage won't run the benchmarks and says "System Info Scan failed" and something about Dll?

50% GPU usage!?

"System Info Scan failed" - What's your error? Or DLL's are missed?
