Processor: i5 2500k + Noctua NH-D14
Mainboard: ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
Memory: 2x4gb G.SKILL 1600mhz

hi guys.
I just installed noctua cooler in my rig and now my loudest components are the gpu-s :-(. Is there a way to lower min idle fan speeds while I'm idle-ing in Win (90% of time on PC). currently 9800 goes min to 35% and 460 to 40%. If I remember correctly there was a way but it involved editing bios? When I game, I set fans manually to 80-90% (gtx460) so that's not an issue. I use 9800 as PPU so maybe I could even lower clocks/V a bit. thanks. |
