So far all 680's and 670's with a Non-Stacked PCI-E Connector are compatible.

GTX 680's:
Gigabyte GTX 680 OC 2GB
KFA2 GTX 680 EX OC 2GB (Fan Header at the back removed, cable too short)
KFA2 GTX 680 EX OC 4GB (Fan Header at the back removed, cable too short)
KFA2 GTX 680 LTD OC 2GB
Galaxy GTX 680 GC 2GB (Compatibility unknown yet)
Galaxy GTX 680 GC 4GB (Compatibility unknown yet)
Galaxy GTX 680 SOC 2GB

As far as i know all 670's are supported as there isn't a 670 with a Stacked PCI-E Connector.

You could get the Twin Turbo 2 tho, it's compatible with every 680. It's just a 2 fan design.

I was looking at that right after I read your post about the 3 fan not fitting. I also noticed that Accelero Hybrid cooler as well. But it's not available until May 29th.

Review of the KFA2 GTX 680 EX OC 2GB.

http://www.kitguru.net/components/gr...-ex-oc-review/

The reason i want this one is that i don't have to install any of the heatsinks from Arctic, just the cooler itself.

Seems i don't have to bother with the KFA2 Card anymore as it's not compatible with the Xtreme III.

I noticed in the review i posted above they removed the third fan header that's next to the 2 Pin near the PCI-E Connectors. On earlier photos of the PCB that header was still there, but it seems in the final design it has been removed.

It used to be where i marked it with Red.

I just did some measurements of my current 580 with Accelero Xtreme Plus 1, and found out the cable wont be able to reach all the way to the front of the card to plug it in. Unless you cut the cable of the cooler and make it longer.

Let's hope Gigabyte rolls out a 4GB Model then, sigh.

I was a bit unsure if the Xtreme III would fit on the KFA2 GTX 680 EX OC because of the DVI Block they use. But after finding a perfect Topdown Shot and the Specsheet from Arctic it seems it will fit just fine.

Have a look

Did you see the price for that Accelero Hybrid??

Arctic Cooling is charging $179.00usd on their site!

Reminds me of the Corsair Hydro H40 which only costs $59.00, but with an extra fan/shroud for the card.

That's the price Arctic advices. In a shop you would find it for cheaper.

I found the Xtreme 3 for €60 already while Arctic advices €90.
