i used to have this problem.

then i bought 2x xfx warpads.

It can be an obsessive problem, but when you have to change your pad every month or few months, then it can be very annoying = have so much experience with that

o.o.. I have had my razer mantis speed for 3 years.. You can wash most mouse pads in soapy water then rinse and dry or just put it in with your clothes.

I solved this issue at work as its unavoidable but to have other using my computer at times (unfortunatley) so I have two mice

my logitech (cheap and nasty but hey i didnt pay for it

) that I use on my Razer Goliathus controll, and then a HP mouse that came wiht one of my workstations off to the side I make them use >.<

At home, well my pc rarely gets used anymore its an overglorified media server and flight simulator, and unfortunatley I only have one controller for the simulator

I feel like having a box of gloves beside it though!
