Default Nvidia Max Payne Trolling? - 05-18-2012, 23:06 | posts: 681 | Location: Spain

I did this just to see what I would get, and really... I cant believe Nvidia is capable of such Trolling.

Its my GPU so bad that they recomend me a 560 to run the game?

I bet if ATI had an analyzer for the game it would have the same result, preferring their card over the competitors.

No. That doesn't mean you can't play Max Payne 3.

Because Rockstar Games has Radeon HD 3400 512MB VRAM, as the minimum required, so you should be all right.

GTX 560 is the minimum for highest settings @1080 - as recomended by Nvidia.

Did you seriously expect them to test all AMD GPUs?

Yea funny enough it didn't know what I had . But yea of course your HD 6870 can handle the game. It just the way they have there scaner to mislead people into getting something that could be slower then what they currenty have.

yes... misleading people is what that plugin is for.

as well as pissing off Radeon owners...
who have nothing better to do then let their GPU be analyzed by Nvidia.

Well, it says, "Is your PC ready for Max Payne?" I guess its a bad idea to test an AMD card on a Nvidia page, but I was amazed that it even recognised the card!
