Razer Deathadder 3.5g @ 1000hz , 3500dpi , mid-high sensitivity settings,
paired with a large Razer goliathus fragged Mat
have been using this set up for around 2 years now, mouse itself is still perfect , but the goliathus mat definitely needs replacing soon as i do the unspeakable and smoke near my Rig/Peripherals lol, so there are a couple of [very small] burn/singe marks as well as cat claw marks here and there as well lol

I finally got my Razer Mamba Elite 2012 today from Parcelforce after EBuyer messed me around twice (it was supposed to have been delivered Saturday then they told me Monday, which didn't happen either). I certainly won't be using them again. I also got my Razer mouse mat from Amazon this morning too.
I've also ordered a Thermaltake Tt eSports MEKA G Unit mechanical keyboard for delivery on Friday from Scan as I'm taking a long weekend off work. I figured it was high time I replaced my adequate but cheap Microsoft keyboard for something much better. I'm intrigued about mechanical keyboards having never used them before. However, they are very expensive so I hope I like it. The Tt keyboard certainly looks the part in the YouTube video reviews I've seen.

Well, after using the Razer Mamba for a couple of hours in wired mode (to recharge it) on my Razor Sphex mat, it is safely and by the far the best mouse I've ever had the pleasure of using and puts my previous Microsoft Sidewinder X8 to shame. The 1000 MHz precision makes this mouse feel so precise and accurate as it glides silky-smooth across the mat that it makes my last mouse look like a £5 cheapy (well, OK, not really but the difference is very noticeable IMO).
The amount of customization borders on ridiculous and the packaging was so gorgeous to look at, with the mouse mounted on a pedestal in a clear hard plastic container that it was two hours before I had the heart to even open it!!! I'm not so sure it's really worth the £100 asking price but I love it all the same. My only gripe so far is that the mouse recharges on the wireless base but in order to do so the PC has to be left on which makes it less useful than I'd hoped. Fortunately the mouse recharges with the cable connected so I could avoid using the base completely if I wanted... except it has gorgeous lighting that makes me want to leave it plugged in and use my mouse wirelessly! Can't win, can I? lol

Damn .. bad luck..
On a note about Logitech CS... I broke the bluetooth dongle for my MX Revolution once (my own carelessness)
I contacted CS and they sent me a brand new replacement dongle for free shipped from some part of europe to London... all based on my word.
I've heard of people getting shipped a desktop kit to replace a faulty mouse too.

Thats great, but I have had no assistance from Logitech.
They told me I have to try pot luck again by returning the mouse to the store, then buy another with no guarantee of not having the same problem(s).
They should have sent me a guaranteed working mouse.
As they havent looked after me, they have lost a sale and I cant possibly recommend them them to anyone else, their quality control truly is disgraceful.
Forgot to mention, My Logitech G19 keyboard software crashes each time I run it since installing this Logitech mouse.
So thanks to installing their software that doesnt work, now my Logitech keyboard doesnt work properly either!

A-Jazz Hercules Beetle. in yellow
A nice and cheap e-bay purchase which works great. It has the option to switch between 600/1200/1800/2400 dpi and has a metallic scroll wheel. The dpi settings are remembered when you switch your pc off and on too. There is a red, blue or red & blue light that comes on depending on the dpi setting.

I've decided to go for the SteelSeries Sensei pro, it looks to be amazing and is cheaper than other high end mice too @ £53.
http://www.madshrimps.be/articles/article/1000240/
http://www.ebuyer.com/341589-steelse...ei-mouse-62029
It has an LCD on the bottom to change settings, is very configurable including lift height, up to 11.4 Kdpi using a 32bit ARM processor and has some neat gaming features.

Disgusting colour IMO but otherwise that looks like a fine mouse. However, I found metallic scroll wheels to be horrid as my Sidewinder X8 had one and it felt unnatural to use (cold and too hard). I could never get used to it. Needless to say I haven't missed it one jolt since I got my Razer Mamba which has nice soft rubber on its wheel.
