Yeah watched it last night after it came out yesterday and I have to say I believe I'll be disappointed if they kill off Batman or cripple him which are the rumors already going around. They need to end this with him "Rising" and standing tall after a defeat of enemies.

Mmmm I'm afraid that's not going to happen. I think Nolan will rather turn Batman into a myth, for which a pre-requisite is to be dead or have lost the virtue. That is the "rising" part for me.

Hopefully Christopher Nolan have something planned for batman in the future since someone else has already planned another batman reboot

I doubt it. I remember reading an article after The Dark Knight came out and the person doing the interview asked a question about another Batman movie(this was before DKR was ever greenlit) and Nolan said that he wouldnt do another one without Chirstian Bale on board. A couple years later, the same person doing an interview with Christian Bale asked if there was ever a 4th Bataman movie, would he return. Bale said that DKR would be the last time he would don the cape and cowl. So needless to say, I don't think Christopher Nolan will be doing any more Batman flicks once this is done.

I like Nolans approach on a more realistic, emotional and down-to-earth Batman series.
The whole setting, plot and characters seem very believable.

Also, the cast is spot on again!

Tom Hardy is one of the worlds top actors at the moment along with Michael Fassbender. These two will be the Deniro and Pacino of this generation IMO.

Bane should be a great bad guy, one written properly unlike the stupid meathead in the other batman films. He's every bit as smart as Bruce Wayne and arguably a more deadly fighter.

I hope he breaks Batman's back just like the famous storyline in the comic.
