no...basically you make a new shortcut to inspector, add -restartDisplayDriver to the end of target.. then when you want to reset, just double click the icon and wait while it resets..done.. bingo.. fixed!

not really sure if this is related...but i noticed today that my clocks are still down at 51mhz AFTER a resume from sleep! first time ever...i have a hunch that this new option in inspector fixed the problem!

Hey guys.
First of all sorry if this question has already been answered but I just don't find a straight answer. I've been searching for days but I just can't figure out how to limit FPS on Skyrim using Inspector. I have the .exe file and the xlm file in the same folder, in the profile section I have typed skyrim and changed a couple of stuff but non of them seem to apply when I press apply. I ask this because I had (micro) stuttering problems with Skyrim and my gamepad gets a lot of input lag when Vsync is on in the game itself. I have turned it off in Skyrim.ini and now the input lag is gone but I do get screen tearing (not that bad but still). I have also disabled AF and AA through Skyrim options because even on 2 it slows my laptop down like crazy.

I've heard that you better apply AF and AA through inspector (with AA-setting 4x multisampling and AF setting to 4x (for AF do I have to turn AF mode to application controlled?)

The damn FPS limiter is the problem really, it just won't work. After I apply the changes I minimize Inspector and let it run. I'm I missing something here or does Inspector not match my graphic cards? (301.42)

One thing when I use msi after burner, the FPS get locked though and I'm able to lock FPS and combine it with Vsync off. Can someone please help out? Thanks

It doesn't matter where the game executable is, or where Inspector is. Inspector hooks into the same profile list NVIDIA Control Panel uses. The driver doesn't know what to do with a profile name like "Skyrim" or "TESV" -- it only recognizes the game executable (anywhere on your computer) linked to a profile named "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim".

If you can't find Skyrim listed in Inspector/CP's profile list under that name, you'll have to browse to the executable (TESV.exe) in CP and add it to the profile list. Once "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is is in the list, scroll down to framerate limiter and set it to 58 (or whatever you want). Works fine for me.

thank you guys but the suggested stuff didn't work. What did work though was completely uninstalling Nvidia drivers (and removing EVERYTHING in Safe Mode with Driver Sweeper), re install with advanced (optional) and uncheck unnecessary stuff like 3D Vision, PhysX, HD audio (I didn't use them anyway) and now Nvidia Inspector can access the Nvidia data without a problem

as told in changelog, you can set the LED brightness level of cards which have such a ilumination logo (GTX690 and TITAN so far)

Same issue with OC menu open here too, something I've never use as I favour Afterburner for overclocking.

Same here Darren, I would have thought that Orbmu2k would have released a fixed version almost immediately.

whats the point thats so annoying, if you use inspector for OC its fine you safe one click, if you use it for game profiles just start directly into that using the create shortcut feature in the toolbar or adding "-showSettingsOnly -requestElevation" to the shortcut manually

Thanks, you just saved me a lot of time. Also, the program seems to work properly without "-requestElevation". Is it needed for only certain settings?

Someone on the Nexus boards was trying to find how to completely remove the Inspector. After a lot of searching, I still can't find out how this is properly done. Is it as easy as simply deleting the exe file from wherever it was extracted to?

Maybe a dumb question, but I know there are at least 2 of us who can't seem to find the answer. (Though I have no plans to uninstall personally. I think the program is fantastic.)
