It's not that they are limited in the US. Nvidia is having trouble with good yields on the chips.

So as soon as they hit the shelves, BAM gone...people don't want to pass up on it.

Amazon has some 680's floating around...for over 600 USD....

I'm not getting a card with the reference cooler and frequencies. I see companies like ASUS releasing their custom cards, but I can't find them anywhere either. Meanwhile, Nvidia is already releasing their dual card solution. This is getting ridiculous. I don't want to wait months before they become available. I'll end up getting a good 7970 before then, and has more and stronger memory.

Why can’t Nvidia supply Kepler/GK104/GTX680?

Installed mine yesterday in my new rig (look to your left). I haven't really got a demanding game to test it ATM but I went from 60fps on low to 60fps on very high in Tribes Ascend.

I think I'll stick with the 580 for now since the only game I play that actually needs it is Crysis 2.

Wow, this is quiet! Fan speed is less than 1000 rpm at idle, card idles at 33c right now. Also got my ivy bridge running, I have some memory issues with second kit but I haven't updated bios yet.
