Only Nvidia's own benchmarks.
Should be lots of reviews on Thursday.
You will still get issues with SLI, just different issues to what your used to.

The current issues I have with ATI are:
1. It takes them up to 2 months after a game release(Major or small) for a decent Xfire Profile(Many times these profiles just turn Xfire off for better performance). It seem Nvidia already have profiles ready 2 months "before" gamereleases.
2. Negative Xfire scaling
3. Buggy Drivers
4. Rage Still broken on ATI cards! As Carmack said ATI's communication with devs is piss poor.
What issues will I encounter with Nvidia? Never had issues with my last SLI x2 6600's in 2004.

When I had two GTX470's in sli I had negative SLI performance in a handful of games. It took them a month sometimes to come up with a profile for a new game or two. SLi is'nt without its problems either.

2x690's will blow 2x680's clean out of the water without the massive price tag and physical space of 4x680's in sli.
Its also more expensive over here than $2k for 2x690's,i wish the price was the same as it was in the USA as id snap 2 of em up right away,i may still snap 2 up yet anyhow, depends on how i feel on the day and how the reviews are.
Also before you say it i dont get problems with stuttering, well i havent so far because if i did i wouldnt be buying a 690(s).
|
If there is one thing you should know about me, is I only speak from my experience, or someone elses experience that is shared with me. I never suggested anybody would get stuttering if they don't, and wouldn't.
For future reference.
Oh yeah, yer crazy for buying 2 of these still stutter or not!
Are you Bodars' long lost brother?
