Oh right, didn't know he was out too. Hoping Liverpool will beat them in the FA cup final or I'll be gutted. I can see Madrid getting through and fingers crossed they will demolish them

Barca totally clueless. they didn't create a single chance (apart from a Messi) shot. they just didn't have a clue. absolutely ridiculous. they were trying to pass their way through 10 chelsea players all inside the box. jesus, not surprised they're not gonna win the league this year. Guardiola to be blamed for that as well of course. Barcelona definitely on a decline compared to the previous 3-4 years. Next year they'll struggle even more. It looks like others have worked them out.

About torres goal, well, he was 1 on 1 with the keeper so it's hardly a feat to score that.

Agreed. They just didn't know what to do, they had no idea how to break down 10 men behind the ball. I wonder how good Barca would be if they were a Premier League team?

don't think they would win it. thing is they had 50 minutes to try something else. they didn't. very stubborn and amateurish. there's no way chelsea will beat either Real or Bayern in the final. no way.

today we saw what barsa lacks, a true scorer, with villa off... alexis is something strange, but not a killer.

Anyways it was 2goals, and so close match @@, not bad tho, at least now if madrid go trough finals will be good for me xD, barsa vs madrid = zz, no preference.

Congrats at chelsea supporters, they deserved after what happened 3-4years ago. Now only wait for summer, no soccer = spain may recover economy D:

no team has ever defended a CL triumph. And I think Barca are in decline. it's beginning to show this year, they are nowhere near Real in the league. Don't forget some of their key players are getting to an age where the performance begins to go downhill.

real did xP. Altho CL was in other type on competition...

Only xavi is on that age imo (and puyol, but he's still the best defender there), and anyways they lost vs chelsea... all of their players are on that age xD!. Maybe they are not so bright as before, but im sure they are still the best team (okay they can lose vs a 10-1 bus), i think guardiola tried too much with the 3 defenders thing, they risk too much versus counter-attacks, and wont have a big effect versus populated defences to have one more player.

I think it was about lack of effectivness (they failed like 300 shots in london) and that their defence wasnt as good as before..., and still they were tied (except chelsea had the advantage because of 1-0 2-1) until went desperate and torres scored 2-2.

After all, in top competitions, little differences is what make you win or lose... and only in a match.

That was before CL era.

Valdez, Villa, Puyol, Xavi are all 30 or more. I think we'll see what happens next year. Some players age better than others, look at Scholes and Giggs. Or Van Der Saar.

Barca has always been vulnerable in counter attacks ..
AC Milan showed it ... so did Arsenal and Chelsea had beaten them that way. and I. didn't realize messi was even on the pitch before he missed that penalty. he has been a flop in the last 3 games ... I hope this put barca and their ego to their place.. along with the gloryhunters ....

Ramires and Torres goals were just beautiful! Chelsea proved me wrong. Even with 10 men they still managed to beat Barca. I really don't think Pep is coming back next season. Think he's gonna ditch for EPL.

Come on Chelsea superb performance. Kicked off at 01:45 in my part of the world but well worth waking up for, been supporting them since 1970. I thought we were done for when we went down to 10 men and 2-0, but showed great spirit to claw it back. Although i think we will have to start the final with 9 men the suspensions

Man, that was a disappointing outcome. After Messi's missed penalty things went downhill, a shame to see Chelsea's defensive camping payed off.

Oh so it was a great goal only because he missed easier chances before? No, it wasn't, it was an easy goal, nobody around him for 30 yards.

Sorry guys, I'm a Real Madrid supporter, but I don't accept that Barcelona is going down right now. They did a fantastic season this year as they only throw the spanish league when they were beaten by madrid 4 days ago. And now they are out of the Champions league... But be serious, it was the luckiest semifinal ever! Barcelon could have scored like 5 goalz easily, is just that the ball didn't wanted to go inside. But the played far far better than chelsea, in fact Chelsea is not near the level...

With the same team, for me they still have the the best team with the better players in the world only followed close by Real Madrid right now. If people says that barsa is going down is only because they dont watch their games often.

Of course they're better than Chelsea. But they played against 10 man Chelsea like robots for 50 minutes, nobody tried anything different to unlock Chelsea. Really brainless imho.

Yes, but they should have tried to fall back a bit try to stretched them a bit. Instead they were trying to pass it though the middle where Chelsea had 10 centre backs waiting.
