Default Corsair Hydro H80/H100 rattling pump - 04-21-2012, 21:00 | posts: 864 | Location: Poland, Poznan

Hey gurus,

I thought there might be some folks here having problems with H80 or H100 making rattling, HDD-like noise. If so, there's a fix (or a hack as some like to call it) for that.

If you're tired of the noise, shoot me a PM.

If you're interested in details, I've described everything here:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1236923/c...nding-pump-fix

I don't call it a hack because this doesn't alter the unit in any way and will not void your warranty. And it's proven to be very successful. Past few months I've send those out to dozens of people all over the world and only a few didn't silence the cooler.

ED: just checked, 88,5% of people who got them reported a success in making the pump shut up with one of these

Cheers!
