Wonder if Nvidia will respond and drop their prices of their 680's (if they can, as they are in very short supply), as they are not worth buying now imo, as why buy a more expensive card for the same performance, but 1gb less ram

my 6970 maintained the value for an entire year before i sell it...

you obviously missed every single review of the 680, I am more of a fanboy of truth than a company that gets my hard earned money. matter of fact, the 680 sli is not enough of an upgrade for me as a 580 sli owner. truth is your card is a close second and now at a good price point for consumers. cant go wrong with either now at these prices
