I overclocked my i5 2500k at 4.0ghz at stock 1.20 voltage.
I also got the 8.950.5.0 driver for my 7950 Sapphire OE at stock 900/1250.

I tried to reset my bios to get my cpu back on default 3.3ghz and I got 279 points

way too low man. you should atleast have 900~ for the score iirc. either a driver issue or something else. are your games running ok? how old is the os?

I just built it a week ago, i got a retail 64 bit windows 7 sp1,
What do you think is wrong?
The mobo's bios update is dated 02/17/2012, should i update my bios?
I tried the overclock per clock to 4.2ghz and increase the voltage to 1.25 and i got a lower score.
The 8.95.5 beta driver got 45 points more than when i ran the benchmark with the official 8.95

Doesnt hurt to have the latest bios. return your oc to stock and see if its better. not sure what else driver to try.. maybe someone else with a 7950 can chime in using that driver.

also is your card reference? link to model? if its an oc edition card it might need more voltage.

I built this computer a week ago and i checked with cpuid and it said I got the latest bios.
I got the Sapphire Overclock edition and voltage is fine.
I am just dissapointed with my score since I have seen people with weaker specs than mine and get about 1000 points in heaven 3.0
