I paid 500 Euro for mine (Switzerland).

Will pick it up today after work.
What is the best driver for this card at the moment? 12.1 preview?

Thanks and regards

And I didn't buy the cheapest one. The Club3D is 479€ - they were sold out already though.

Switzerland generally has better prices since the shops don't increases prices for new products..the prices here stay quite stable all the time.

Can't see the link but if it's a UK site then it is hardly surprising as we live in a country where pretty everything costs more than the rest of the world and, especially, the U.S.

At £450+ these cards are outrageously priced although they do have twice the memory of a standard GTX 580 I guess which only adds to the cost. I guess I'm going to have to get used to that price range for a top-tier card though as I don't suppose the new NVIDIA GTX 780 (or whatever it'll be called) will come much cheaper either at launch. I expect prices to settle after a few months to around £400 which is really the most I'd prefer to pay for a high-end graphics card.

I'll be leaving my purchase for a month or 2 until they get the bugs ironed out with the drivers etc. and the prices come down a bit. I ain't payin' £500+ for a decent one (not buying XFX again, voltage control please), maybe Giga or ASUS (to match my mobo).

BLEH!

They posted their stock up at around 01:30 hours. The other larger etailers didn't until around 08:30. I watched the stock levels drop very quickly. Demand will keep prices up I think, maybe they will go up.
