Did you guys even read the thread title beforing making off-topic posts? This thread has nothing to do with graphics cards, drivers or prices. The thread is in regards to nVidia as a corporation....

Yes, but the corporation was built on? You can't say something like "Did you guys even read the thread title beforing making off-topic posts?". What does the average gamer think when hes going to buy a GFX card. He thinks Nvidia or ATI, performance over the others performance plus value for money.
So to answer the question based on my opionion, "Does Nvidia have a future". I think yes it does, and it infact probably will have a very good one.
It all depends on the games and the future of PC gaming, but that is a whole other topic.
The corpration will crumble if GFX cards, drivers and what not do not make the clients happy and give the corpration a sexy good repuatation.

Dumb article is dumb.
Nvidia has a bright future, and they're not going anywhere but forward. A lot of people are Nvidia loyalists, and with the Tegra line of chips being extremely powerful....I think it's pointless to discuss if Nvidia has a future.

You're 28 months late to this thread. Tegra was not a well established product line when this thread was started in August 2009, unlike today. The article in the first post of the thread is really no longer applicable.

As a corporation nvidia are doing really well - The market share is off the hook! The Business model is great because it's churning away without supply or demand issues, marketing is great etc etc.....
The only real question is what future alliances they will have with intel, or even AMD. We have moved away from the CPU and into the realm of the GPU. A realm in which Nvidia is king, at least right now in terms of market share! However the 2013 intel CPU's are supposed to be re-introducing the CPU as the PRE-DOMINANT power house of any noteworthy PC by having top quality professionally integrated graphics cores.
This will be Nvidia's BIGGEST hurdle in the foreseeable future, IMO

There are a few companies whose products I've used in the past because I was forced to by the faulty monopolized market, and whose business practices I would never support.
Nvidia is one of them.
Apple is another.

Actually sir, we are moving back into the world of CPU's as now Intel and AMD are including graphics cores into their CPU's.

Actually, Intel dominates the desktop graphics market as a whole and always will. nVidia only "dominates" the "dedicated" segment of the graphics market which in whole is considerably smaller than people seem to believe.
So, being that a CPU is required to do anything with a computer, how exactly have we "moved away from the CPU"???
On a side note: Why do people KEEP digging up this old thread? This is one of the longest running threads on this forum, dating back to August 2009.
