I bow to your almighty driver posting power.

Now, I wonder if it fixes Sonic - Generations negative crossfire scaling?

Also, what to do if my secondary 6950 fan keeps randomly spinning up and not responding to fan limitation settings in Catalyst Control Center, Afterburner or TriXX?

Thanks for posting this. I keep forgetting about Twitter.

Will post back soon and see if it works. Shame really in a way as the AMD Catalyst 8.93 (Nov. 18) driver is fast and reliable. Don't want to make the change!

So this is the same as the performance driver just with Skyrim CFX? I wish they included the App Profile Editor too... then it would be easily the best drivers since 10.5 IMO!

edit: reread title thanks... still, any word if it has the App editor in it?

I had a problem installing. It showed a question mark and when I clicked on the log each one said success and at the bottom under errors there was nothing. Wonder what happened?

May have been because of the AMD Catalyst 8.93 (Nov. 18) I was using previous. It did not show up in the Programs add and remove in windows so I uninstalled it from device manager. There is something in the 8.93 thread about a 'special' way of uninstalling those drivers. Not sure what went wrong.

Will test Skyrim now.

You apparently have to use 'Windows Installer Clean Up' to get rid of 8.93. Here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Securit...-Utility.shtml

Well I just tried them in Skyrim and I get flickering in water and in water falls in the town up north (cant remember name.). Crossfire is working though but god knows what else flickers. Will uninstall this and retry to see if I get problem installing this time. I am using CCleaner and Driver sweeper btw.

11.11b show no improvement over 11.11a for me. Yes, I can now enable CF for Skyrim, but I'm still getting negative scaling.

I get about 43-47 fps at a certain view in Windhelm with a single 6870, and 38-43 with my second 6870 enabled.

If the release notes mention some kind of Skyrim CF performance improvement, I would like to know what they're talking about because I can't see it...

Thanks for that. I have used what I have stated above to remove the driver but now I have the 11.11b driver on (this is where it bought up a question mark). How do I use this program now that I have already installed a different driver?

Thanks.

You should probably uninstall the current driver normally with the express uninstall which means a reboot. Then use this program to wipe any AMD drivers. I haven't wiped 8.93 yet (I'm just going to leave it for now) so I dunno if it requires a reboot. After that for good measure use a standard driver cleaning program as well, that requires another reboot.

Finally after all that you can install a new driver... which will require a reboot. You have a lot of rebooting to do.
