Never seen it or tried it but the shape and build materials seems pretty similar to a Puretrak Valor:

    http://www.puretrak.com/products/item/32

If so the build quality will be quite bad. With the Puretrak mouse, holding the mouse to firmly would accidentally click mouse4, even though you're not pressing directly onto the button.

My CM Storm Spawn arrived. With the 30a firmware it's a very solid mice and (considering my small hands) I prefer it over the Deathadder.

The newer firmwares give you a lower LOD, but they come with lot's of other issues, so 30a ftw.

Yeah I prefer this over my G9x, pretty solid build and tracks well on my softpad. They are coming out with the Xornet (black version) and that one has a 2000DPI sensor for those people who like lower DPI.

Im thinking of getting CM xornet which is identical to spawn. Any idea if someone with a hybrid palm/claw/grip will feel comfortable with this mouse?

Im not sure if it would feel good since the ring finger rest is so huge that make the mouse wide..

It's the thrid most comfortable mouse I've used. With the Xai (1st) and G400 (2nd). Have you ever held a Steelseries Ikari? The shape is similar but smaller.

1800 is good enough for me, anything else is just a little extra. Atm the Xai has accel issues when doing fast swipes, which the DA sensor doesn't have and this one is using the DA sensor.

God knows what they're trying to pull off with that custom lens though since it only goes up to 2300 dpi instead of 3500.

They might actually get LOD right without ****ing up the sensor, with the only side effect being settling for lower DPI.

Prediction aside atm there's only 2 gaming mice with a flawless sensor:

    Deathadder and the G400 (MX518)

And Mkilbride, I made this guide so some people would actually understand there's more to a mouse then DPI.

    Not sure if serious...

I play Quake with a 400DPI mouse at 1680x1050 and it's smooth as butter.

Lemme guess, intelli 1.1 :p if so, if they get this mouse right, you'll have a worthy replacement.

Similar in shape, they only have 400 dpi but they're reliable as hell.

for not opening another thread ,i will ask here
just hit buy button for this mouse
    http://www.corsair.com/vengeance-m60-performance-fps-laser-gaming-mouse.html
i heard a lot of good things about it,and what convinced me was the aluminium frame on top it is build.
i started to hate cheap made mouses clasified as gaming mouse.
i looked around and the looks, the reviews ,made me choose this Vengeace M60 mouse.
i just hope that is what i look for so long time
a solid mouse, something that feels like an extension of your hand.

Uses the same sensor as the Xai/G500/G700 which has a mild positive acceleration over ~1.5 m/s. Quite noticable on the logitech mice, barely imo on the Xai.

Currently I'm using a Zowie AM, quite pleased with it.

Btw, Logitech removed prediction from the G400 on their newer batches.
