If these have OpenGL 4.2 then there's really no point in even testing the developer-only 280.47 beta drivers I've just downloaded then?
Nice to see some performance improvements again, even if they are mostly for SLI [spits in disgust], and PhysX has finally been updated to the latest build too.

They are basically saying there is improvements for fermi cards and showing examples of those increases with 560/580, showing the improvements with all cards would be a huge list if you think about it.

Guys, can anyone test it in BFBC2 and post your results comparing to 275.33 and 280.26 drivers
As I know there was a performance regression with 275.xx and 280.xx branch. 285.xx should be fixed. Thnx for answers!

These have Cuda 4.1.1.
edit: P-state looks like its under control, it has a small P0- state spike here and there and a little longer P8- state low 3d frequency but its ok, kinda like by old 270.xx and 275.xx driver.

These are BETAS so you'll have to wait a couple of weeks usually for the certified drivers to be released.

WHQL means little to nothing, even the notorious nvidia driver from a while back that killed cards cuz it didnt spin up the fan passed WHQL so go figure...

Where are the release notes?
Edit: http://uk.download.nvidia.com/Window...ease-Notes.pdf
PS: GeForce 500 series: GPU power levels appear to fluctuate unnecessarily while navigating the Firefox browser. [857542]
Seems to not have the fps limiter.

Much better than 280 but I'm still not sure they are as good as the 270 branch, at least they have fixed the bugs that came back like flashing blobs on screen and the big fps drops that 280 added back.
