so i bought this D-link DIR-655 based on reviews on newegg and amazon both have over 1500 reviews.
So my problem is that no matter what i cannot get it to work at 300mbps it stuck @ 150mbps on my home network not internet. The second problem is that my xbox slim cannot properly work with 655 i've tried to stream HD not real HD but 720p MKV rips at about 3500 Kbps no lucky. The bar on xbox(windows media center) suggested me to watch SD quality. I've tried everything chnging wireless security,changing channels,broadcast only N.. nothing worked just hopeless it ate a year of my life in two days. So i packed it and returned it  ( even though it broadcasted @ 150mbps i still was able to stream HD 720p mkv fiiles between my laptops and even tried 45.0 Mbps 1080p clips not so smooth thhough but xbox just hopeless)Now i'm shopping for something better don't like d-link any suggestions? |
