Asus 6850 problem

I bought an asus 6850 direct cu.
Its default voltage is 1.146v and 790mhz coreclock.
Problem is, at default volt , i get 900mhz stable in furmark,but get artifacts in unigineheaven and avp.
I m using 10.10ehotfix,also tested 10.12.same.please help.

 

what are your temps? did you oc only the core clock?

yea, thanks...i got it.
But, i get at 1.226v 1ghz core clock.and memory 1200+ mhz.stable at unigine heaven 8xaa tesselation extreme and furmark.

 

in unigine ,@850mghz ,64c
i oced memory also @1150mhz.

 

how does it performs @ 1GHz core?

 

in 1024x768 res,
unigine heaven 2.1v , 8xaa ,all set highest, 3d off, dx11 platform, extreme tesselation...
1.at default clock,
avg fps 21.8
2.at 1ghz core,1150mhz memory,
avg fps 27.

 

Seems like your OC is unstable...
At 960/1150 on my HD6850 I'm getting:

30.2 FPS
761 Scores
15.5 Min FPS
55.0 Max FPS

@1440x900 Resolution 8AA 16AS Extreme Tesselation

 

so, can u please tell me what is making it crappy?please tell me...please.

is that my proccessor , bottlenecking me? Or my crappy psu??
Or ram (3gb 667bus ddr2)...or that core voltage@1.226v?

Bro I dont own a 6850 but i do own a 6870 nd i was getting very low FPS @ Heaven 2.1 but then i Booted into safe mode, Unistalled my Card through Device manager, Used driver sweeper & then booted into windows nd install Catalyst 11.2 again nd it fixed my problems......try this nd if it doesnt work try a frest Re-install of Win7 nd then think about bottlenecking.....

At these clocks, the HD6850 is probably faster than the HD6870 at stock, hence why.

nope it is not....if so, may be 1~3%
and u getting 30 at 1440x900
he getting 28.8 at 1024x768 at same settings, how come??

 

how much juice did you gave to your 6850 to reach 960 stable? are you using afterburner or Zhitty doctor?
