Default Force Higher Refresh Rate - 11-27-2010, 14:37 | posts: 992 | Location: Tiny Town in USA

I have a new 1080p HDTV. The maximum reported refresh rate possible by the EDID is 75 Hz, but the native resolution at 1080p is set at 60 Hz. The highest resolution I can pick at 75 Hz is only 1024x768 for some reason. Is there a way to force this higher to the TV's maximum of 75 Hz?

theres no point to put over 75Hz cause it doesnt support it..
I have 60Hz 1080p

75Hz might be for lower resolution..

Also, 60Hz is more than enough for the 23.976FPS of Blu-Ray 1080P HD video.
