after all my two reports.
a) Medieval 2 total war windowed mode reports like 900fps when its ~50. Other windowed games works fine and m2tw full screen too. (minor bug). Also only on this game, fps show seems to work randomly, sometimes i start and its fine, sometimes not :S. Im using stainles steel mod launcher.
b) NVm, i had some old version with the cpu problem (too many installers around ) or broken something, reinstalled and solved.
Great build.
I remove my question, ill start and others radeonpro from a bat file after detecting that im on local session and not remote. So np anymore xD
Click to show spoiler
Also... a very strange question. What happens if i start two instances of radeonpro.exe dealing with the same service instance? (i mean, how that affects the software running and RP working?)
PD: Atm i get a "some reosurces not avaiable jumplists wont be running fine" dialog <- could be disabled by some parameter @ configs plz? no need for interface option or such.
I ask this because i use concurrent remote-desktop and when i start @ my remote place while my dad its at PC. A new user session (same user) will be created and thus every auto-start item gets doubled. And i always get this RP dialog, and also idk how new version will react (1.0.7.51 would crash so no double instance xD)

First problems here.
First, can't get the FPS counter to show in any game at all. Tried changing the settings in the Settings window, didn't worked, tried pressing the toggle and change position buttons, no deal.
Second, in the profile wizard, it doesn't show all my Steam games. I have 9 games and a mod. In the wizard, it only shows 7 and Aliens Swarm Dedicated server.
Tell me what you need.
Other than that, it is working, the profiles get loaded and the settings get applied.
Little request if i may and if you can, it is not a priority but i would be cool if you can add an "Purge" button, so, obsolete profiles get deleted.
Will test some moar.
Edit:
Solved the FPS counter thing. Did a clean reinstall of RPro and it went back.
The wizard problem persist.

Beta version all work fine for steam games and others here. Only problem is i cannot get fps counter or screenshot button working in most games. In dx9 games the fps counter loads then dissapears after a few minutes and in dx10/11 its not working at all no screenshot no fps counter.
loving the app all the same though, just cannot wait until i can run this only with out fraps aswell.
And i cannot wait for the crossfire bars.

Framerate counter was working fine for me (it was enabled by default so I've now disabled it) and BFBC2 doesn't crash either (non-Steam version though). Just got the crash with Windows Live Mail Beta as everything else is minor.

Nah none of those two are on steam. And i do not have steam running when these games crashes. Wierd, only thing related is that they are not DX9, but DX10 games. Havent gotten another DX10 game to try if that is the reason or not.
I also redownloaded and reinstalled Radeonpro to make sure i got the latest version.

Just tested trough various games.
Games that run fine with the RP beta:
LOTRO
Diablo II
Blood Bowl
Guild Wars
Torchlight (this game looks pretty nice with max forced AA and AF, but dips down to 20fps xD)
Risen
Hellgate London
Age of Conan doesn't want to run with this version of RP, so something conflicting there.
Same issue as LOTRO had but without the high CPU load.

Wow, I've got a weird issue with with RadeonPro 1.0.9.0 Preview 2 (I've also successfully replicated this with 1.0.8.7) running. At first I thought the latest Flash update was the culprit, but after some testing, it appears that it has something to do with RadeonPro.
Windows Media Player (other video/audio players work fine) always crashes/hangs when double-clicking on a media file for the first time after system startup (I'm running the media files from a network drive, not sure if that matters) while RadeonPro 1.0.8.7 or later (may be some earlier 1.0.8.x versions as well, but I don't have them for testing) is running. Shutting off RadeonPro will make it work fine. With 1.0.7.51 everything is fine, no matter if RadeonPro is running or not.
I don't have any profiles for Windows Media Player set in RadeonPro, by the way. Operating System is Windows 7 64 bit with all the latest updates.

OK just installed v1.0.9.0 Preview.
- No installation issues.
- The skin problem is back. All skins except Verde refresh them selfs constantly and CPU load is very high. (Verde skin is the only one that works without issues).
- From release notes: "New: display refresh rate can be specified as part of profile or global settings". Cannot find this feature anywhere, was it not added in the 1.0.9.0 Preview version?
Will test it with some games now.
Edit:
- OK, found the refresh rate feature in the classic skin. It is not available in the Verde skin.
- Global settings are not saved in the classic skin.
- FPS settings are missing in the classic skin. (Edit: my bad everything moved to RadeonPro Settings / FPS tab).
- Refresh rate override feature works !!! (Picture attached )

Steam wizard won't find 100% of games as Steam don't keep information for all games in the same manner, it's a mess internally...
Next builds will have an option to filter out profiles so you'll be able to either delete or hide profiles for actually not installed games.
Oh, sorry about Steam, I don't use the friends option so I didn't spot your invite, I'll check that later

Good! Windows live mail beta may be using some DX lib in an unusual way, must do some adjustments to app detection yet.
BCFC2 only crash on DX10, but it's already fixed here.
The hiccups while scrolling pages you've reported before are gone with the preview?

Yeah, BFBC2 @ DX10 was crashing here too, I had to change a string from "fx_4_0" to "fx_4_1" when DX10.1 is detected, really weird issue but it's fixed now. Stalker may work too with that change. I'll upload the changes tomorrow.

The high cpu load with skins other than verde is still unresolved as I'm unable to reproduce here, maybe some other external component are doing that, but I don't have a clue of what may be causing that behavior....
Forced refresh rate and a few other options aren't available in Verde skin, just noticed it. I'll fix it in next compilation.
About Global settings, did you spotted the "Save changes" that appear on bottom of window right after changing anything in Global profile?
Sorry, just saw your screenshot but I don't get it. You were unable to set 60 Hz on prince of persia before?

I've managed to get some extensive testing done now (with 1.0.9.0 Preview 2). The same thing happens when starting any media file from a local hard drive by double-clicking on it. It's really weird. After the testing, it appears it's not just the first time I try to play a media file directly through double-clicking on it after startup (note that if I start media player manually and add the file via drag & drop, there are no problems). It happens randomly, but most often the first time after startup. Once it happens, it appears to happen every time until I exit Radeon Pro.
If I exit RadeonPro it works fine. Once it worked once, it will keep working until I log off or reboot, even if I restart RadenPro 1.0.9.0P2 later in the session.
Again, RadeonPro 1.0.7.51 doesn't exhibit this issue. Whenever I uninstall 1.0.9.0P2 and install 1.0.7.51, all is nice and dandy and playing media files directly works fine every single time. Not sure what may be causing this behavior.

Oh yeah i forgot. Windows messenger beta its gpu accelerated.
Thats why.
If you turn on fraps, you get the FPS counter as a DX app (not the show aero fps thing). If you disable graphics driver you need to restart it etc...

Yes, Prince Of Persia is one of those games that changes the refresh rate to 50Hz as soon as you start the game and when HDMI connection is used.
The override worked perfect. It is now locked at 60Hz and is able to produce 60fps with V-Sync enabled.
Thank you for this!

Well Japamd, I'm speechless.
This is your best release yet!! The Comodo compatibility issue has been fixed and Steam no longer crashes. Scripting works really well and does exactly what I want it to. There is only one minor issue that I have come across, but I have worked out what may be causing it, and I have fixed it anyway. So I don't believe this is RadeonPro's fault at all, and therefore it's not worth reporting at this stage, not unless I come across it in another game, which I don't believe I will.
FPS counter seems to work well. The only game it doesn't show up in is Jedi Knight 2, I think because its an OpenGL game and not DirectX. Because it uses the Quake 3 engine, I'm thinking it won't show up in the Quake games either or possibly any other OpenGL games. Can this be confirmed?
I've only had a couple of hours to test it, so I'll report back again later when I've had enough time to look into it more deeply. But so far everything seems to be running super smoothly for me here.

Tested out a few more games:
Medal of Honor Airborne
Need for Speed World
Dungeons and Dragons Online
Never Winter Nights II
Xpand Rally
Everything works ok except for AoC.
Got a tons of other games I could test, but for that I need to install them.
Maybe I should make a list, if there are some specific games you want me to check up against?
EDIT: Taking screenshots works with all games run at Dx9, so issue only with Dx10/10.1 and 11

After some more testing of v1.0.9.0
- Changing anything in File/Settings results in "Error saving settings". message.
- Global setting are not saved after RadeonPro restarts. Even if "save" is clicked.
- Warcraft 3 TFT crashes at startup with RadeonPro. (Even if has no profile). (Runs just fine without RadeonPro).

config.xml was not in read only.
Also tried removing it. Did not help.
Looks like the settings are saved anyway but the error still appears.

The "Error saving settings" happens intermittently for me too although the settings are being saved.
Also I cannot toggle the process monitoring option in the system tray icon's options; it remains resolutely enabled no matter how many times I try to deselect it.

i reported that bug long time ago. It gets disabled. But the right-button menu "tick" doesnt reflect it, check the taskbar menu. It will show disabled.
its just a cosmetic bug

Saving settings works fine here, but I get the error window popping up too.

RadeonPro causes an instability with Media Player Classic.
Normally, if I am playing a video, say a divx, and I then double click on another video, Media Player Classic will play the new video immediately. If RadeonPro is running then Media Player Classic will stop responding when trying to play the new video.
